iFile iOS 10

iOS 10 is the latest firmware from the Cupertino company and, as they promised, they seem to have made jailbreaking much harder to do. We already heard from Luca Todesco, the well-known Italian hacker, and developer, that we shouldn’t expect too much too soon and, as a result, many users are beginning to miss their favorite tweaks. One of the most popular and one of the most sorely missed is iFile, a File Manager app that allows you to gain access to your iOS device file system, to manage it and customize it how you wanted to.

Method 3: Configuration Profile [ Advanced Method ]

  1. Open Safari and go to this [ link
  2. When the page is fully loaded, look for and tap the Install link, this allows the profile to be downloaded to your iPhone or iPad
  3. Settings opens on the Profile page so tap the Install Profile link and then type in your passcode
  4. When Safari browser opens, tap Install iFile
  5. Tap Install on the confirmation box and Settings will open again
  6. Tap on Install > Next > Done
  7. Wait for iFile to be installed and then you can start using it

If there is no icon on the home page, then the installation failed; repeat the steps again

Method 4: ACMarket Installer [ Advanced Method ]

iFile is not available through the iOS app store but you can easily download it by downloading ACMarket app installer. Follow these steps:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, download ACMarket [ext link]
  2. When it has installed, open ACMarket and tap the search bar
  3. Type iFile and then wait while the results are loaded
  4. Tap the result supported for iOS 10 and wait for iFile to be installed
  5. Now you can open it and start using it

Method 4 : Cydia Impactor [ Expert Method ]

This isn’t a straightforward as downloading an app from the app store and you certainly can’t get iFile via the app store , this is one app that Apple would never allow. So, you will need to use Cydia Impactor, a tool that was designed to help side load apps onto iOS devices and to digitally sign the certificates so that you can use these apps. As such, you are going to need to use your Apple ID and a computer running Windows or Mac OS.

  1. Download the .ipa file for iFile
  2. Download Cydia Impactor [ext link]
  3. Follow the instructions set out in the linked guide on Step 2 to side load iFile onto your iOS 10 device with Cydia Impactor
  4. Now that iFile is on your iOS 10 device you are going to want to use it straight away but you can’t. First you must Trust the certificate otherwise iFile simply won’t run. To do this you need to go into your Settings app
  5. Now go into General and then tap on Profiles & Device Management
  6. Here you will find a list of certificates , tap the one for iFile and then tap on Trust
  7. Tap on Trust again and close down Settings. iFile should now work

Be aware that installing iFile in this way doesn’t give you full root access and that means you will be a little limited in what files and directories you can access. However, you will still have more access than you would have if you didn’t install it so you have nothing to lose.

Fix iFile Not Working Issue:

When you download iFile, you can expect it to crash and, no matter how many times you reinstall it, it will carry on crashing. This is down to Apple; they don’t sign the certificate that lets the app work and, as such, in their eyes it is not a valid app. So, they will revoke the certificate and, as many times as you reinstall it, they will simply pull the certificate again. The only way to prevent this happening is to install Anti Revoke, a VPN tool that blocks Apple from doing this and protecting your apps so follow the link below for more information:
